The rheem convertible gas and electric water heaters installation kit include thermostat, flexible gas line assembly with brass swivel nuts, brass non-scald cover plate, copper pipe hose with brass push clamps, steel supply line clamp, supply line conversion kit, electrical box terminal bar and instructions.

The Convertible Gas Control (Thermostat) is designed for natural gas and propane applications in which energy savings are desired. With its two stage conversion capability, the thermostat can be changed from a conventional pilot-light control to a gas control system with the flip of a switch.

The kit includes the following components: One (1) convertible gas thermostat, one (1) elbow adapter, and two (2) port plates. The Low Temperature Limit Adjustment Screw on the gas control is easily accessible so you can reprogram the temperature at which the water heater will change back and forth between electric and gas operation.
