These terminals allow the thermostat to control indoor temperature on A/C units equipped with such sensors. This thermostat is mounted onto the wall to easily view and adjust temperature settings.

This thermostat is for the heating coil, located inside your home, not the outdoor unit. (The outdoor unit of a heat pump has its own separate thermostat). The SP8333 Thermostat can replace most electric 4-wheel and manual 6-wheel residential thermostats. It is also compatible with older Thermstat models.
