The Safe-T Shear Series Manual CPVC Socket Weld 2" Ball Valve with Emergency Shut Off and Pressure Gauge is made of a durable stainless steel frame with an EPDM seal. It has a 1/2 in Male NPT top connection and a 1/2 in female NPS bottom connection with a push button manual shut off. The body is protected by a stainless steel cover. For maximum protection in high pressure applications the ball valve includes four heavy duty springs for proper seating of the valve against the trim, and properly closing the trim against the ball when applying pressure to stop flow.

Manufactured of the annealed virgin copper specified for CPVC pipe. Permanently joined with stainless steel installation ferrule joint and stainless steel clamps. The 1/2" ball valve design is not recommended to be installed in excess of 180°F (82 C) pressure temperature rating.

The Safe-T-Shear CPVC Socket Weld Ball Valve is a 2IN. diameter valve with 1/2" NPSM female ports on both sides of the valve. The valves are chrome plated and are manufactured under strict quality control standards. They are commercial grade make up to 3000 psi working pressure, 100 psi normal operating pressure rated for both atmospheric and vacuum service.
