The FT-15 1"" NPT F&T C.I. Trap from Spirax Sarco is designed for use in steam or hot water heating systems and features extra large, quick adjust, independent venturi dampers with manual override, as well as a pilot operated main valve. This trap also has a thermally protected annular strainer and a 1"" NPT threaded main valve seat for easy installation without the use of tools.

Spirax-Sarco 50927 'FT-15 1'' NPT F&T C.I. Trap' is a device that is used to provide a seal between the discharge of a cooler and the inlet of a pump that is placed under pressure. The 'F&T' type trap is deflected by gases so that they flow into the inlet pressure zone. This emergency source of cooling (ESC) trap has a unique structure – being designed for reliability and fast service – with an operating head connection and ball valve assembly incorporated within the body.

Stop the flow of sewer gases before they get to your home with the Spirax-Sarco FT-15 1" NPT F&T C.I. Trap. This trap consists of a flange and two components that captures sewer gases and releases them outside where they can be harmlessly dispersed into the air. For easy installation, this trap is designed to work with most homes that have between 4" and 15" of flooring.

The FT-15 1"" F&T C.I. trap is a single flow, balanced single seal design, with integrated isolation valves within the pu­blic side of the valve that permits channeling of flow and ball checks for balancing on flows from 2 to 100 GPM, above or below 50 PSI. Three angle seat seats the ball in place prior to closure.

The FT15JMF 2"" C.I. Trap is manufactured from premium grade carbon steel and high quality brass materials to ensure maximum durability, strength and leak-free operation over a long period of time. This trap is suited for above ground installation in residential or commercial applications to include a water softening system as a filter for particulate removal. It features permanently molded seals, economical, easy to install, and eliminates the cost of annual cartridges and labor that comes with cartridge types.

Because of its wide, angled, lightweight molded polyethylene basin, the FT-15 is a perfect solution to remediate both fixed and mobile hydrocarbon leaks. Wide enough to accommodate even the largest process equipment, the FT-15 allows for easy access and inspection of the formation.  The FT-15 is constructed with cold water cleaning in mind and can be installed with either an external or internal heating coil. It is available with a 10- or 20-micron wire mesh screen, in all standard process sizes from 1"" through 12"", and optional flanged ends for use with socket weld fittings.
