The Supco TPMPU UNIV 3 PHASE MOTOR PROTECTOR protects your sensitive electronics from damaging surges. The protector features an industrial-grade, high-voltage, low-impedance metal oxide varistor (MOV) to absorb and divert a surge to ground. To install, simply plug the protector into a wall outlet and plug a cord from an appliance into one of the room's wall outlets. The Uni-3™ (Universal Three Phase Motor Protector) combines the protection of a 3-pole motor circuit breaker with 5 sets of thermal overload protection into one convenient unit. Designed for use in Large commercial and industrial 3-phase systems, the Uni-3™ solves problems caused by an overload or short circuit on a single phase system.

TPMPU-3 Phase Motor Protectors are designed for use on single phase motors. These over current protectors are connected directly between the start windings terminals of a motor and the power supply to provide protection against damage from too high of a starting current or overload situation.

The TPMUNI is the correct choice for 3 phase split systems where the run and start capacitor are supplied by a 3 phase motor starter. This protector is a superior tripping design that will interrupt power to motors due to excessive current draws or prolonged operation. The TPMUNI can be used as an oversized - (OOS) protector for up to 60% of the motor rating.
