Introducing the ST-5, the newest system sensor product designed to work with existing legacy detectors. This 5 foot sampling tube can be installed in new or existing systems with a layout that is compatible with many manufacturers' legacy detectors. The ST-5 is for use where detection for smoke is required in large commercial kitchens up to 10,000 ft² and spaces such as computer server rooms and other data processing rooms.

The ST-5 sampling tube features a 5' (152 cm) length and a large internal diameter. This tube is ideal for monitoring air in large ducts and has the flexibility to go around corners and through connections. The ST-5 will fit all Legacy Duct Smoke Detectors with a push-in connector, except the Legacy L4S and Legacy L4SI models.

The System Sensor ST-5 Metal Sampling Tube for Legacy duct smoke detectors comes with a 3/4 in. diameter and includes 5' of cable.

The ST-5 Metal Sampling Tube is designed to detect smoke in the air. It samples the air for metal ion contamination in high temperature environments. The tube reduces the risk of false alarms and provides accurate detection.

System Sensor ST-5 Sampling Tubes allow you to drill through 6? of concrete, limestone or brick without the need for "special" concrete drill bits. A 3/8? pilot hole can be drilled before the concrete material is drilled out using a carbide tipped drill bit, then simply screw the ST-5 sampler into the pilot hole, fill with adhesive and place your Legacy Smoke Detector.

This 5' tube unit comes with a break-off adapter at the smoke detector end.

The ST5 sensor tube replaces the legacy ST4 sensor tube used with most legacy smoke detectors. Legacy plates and cover plates are not compatible with this sampling tube.
