A thermostatic control regulates the flow of either hot or cold fluid by operating on a principle of differential temperature.

The Honeywell Energy Series Thermostatic Remote Temperature Sensing Actuator provides better temperature control for your water heater through a convenient electronic temperature probe. The Thermostatic Remote Temperature Sensing Actuator uses a remote sensing temperature probe to obtain the water temperature and provides an actuator signal that turns your water heater on and off as required to maintain the setpoint. The energy savings are tremendous, it will save you $200 or more per year in energy cost, at the same time no high water temperature shock can take place to ruin your fixtures.

One complete kit is enough to install a new thermostatic actuator in place of your old faucet mounted or wall-hung metering valve. The kit comes complete with one (1) 1433 series thermostatic actuator, P/ N 1351-ZR-003, and all the hardware required to install the new actuator, including mounting hardware for the thermostatic actuator and its remote temperature sensor.
