The Taco 5004 is a 1" SW union mixing valve. It includes an anti-rotation, forged brass body and disc. It has a Buna-N diaphragm that will work with air or water. It comes in a flanged frame that has a tapered aircraft style port end.
The 5004-C3 series 90/170F mixing valve delivers a powerful flow of hot water and features an all new design. The body is made from stainless steel with cast iron stems and guide vanes. A forged brass bonnet features unparalleled corrosion resistance, combines great looks, and reduces handle stem breakage. This model is used in combination with a Taco 5000-B3 or Taco 6000-R3 booster heater to provide the required amount of water for the heater's capacity.

This mixing valve provides a mixing chamber for a hot water supply line and a cold water supply line. Two valves are included with each mixing valve and may be either single or double-handle stop/turn configurations. This valve comes with the necessary mounting accessories and hardware to mount into tile or solid partitions.
The Taco 5004-C3 series 5000 mixing valve allows proportional control of hot and cold water to the job site, adding flexibility to your fire protection system. This 4"" mixing valve is suitable for domestic and commercial applications, including indirect water heaters and radiant floor systems. The housing construction of the mixing valve meets the requirements of ASTM F 876.
