With the TEC SHORTBLOCKS K71-12 Relay Kit, you'll get (1) relay, (2) spade connectors, and (1) diagram so you can safely connect a door lock or an interior light to a 12V-battery. These are easy to do: just wire up your device, then tap some power to it directly with the handy terminal wires on the relay! Then wire your relay to the same battery. You can also daisy chain multiple relays together.

Designed to increase the voltage from a 12v power supply. Connection terminals are rated at 6a and 250vac. Wattage ratings are as follows: individual relays are rated 1/2w, total maximum wattage of kit is 3w.

The kit includes SIXTEEN - TEC Battery Connectors that can be used in a variety of applications, thereby eliminating the use of any 12-point M4 male positive studs. By substituting the four included M4 male positive studs with four -TEC Battery Connectors, your reworked battery charger will maintain batteries in a fresh charged condition under virtually all conditions.

TEC ShortBlocks are ready-to-use relay boards for use with the Arduino microcontroller system—no soldering, no programming and no wiring required. The kit comes complete with everything you need to start building logic circuits. In addition to the pre-programmed ATmega328 MCU (microcontroller unit), there is also a 16 MHz resonator, if required, and two power sockets for 5 V (DC) or 3.3 V (DC).
