The TEC Shortblocks K90-27 Overload Kit is a replacement for the overload protector on most K90, K80, and LP100 Series single phase compressor models as well as other compressors utilizing a HACR type overload protector. The overload protector relay normally monitors the motor current, and will shut off the compressor if the current rises above 110% of no-load to load value. The relay must always be used with the 527K TEC/DeHaas Manual Reset type Compressor Contactor or the 827M DeHaas Automatic Reset type Compressor Contactor .

Our overload kits include a new overload relay and wiring harness for your Tecumseh, AYP, or MTD mounted engine. They are all weather tested and easy to install. With all the parts included in each kit you have everything you need for a quick and easy repair. All our Relay Kits provide one additional function over the standard Tecumseh kit. We have combined the power switch with the overload protector relay in one convenient location. Simply open you hood, pull the handle towards you to disconnect power from your equipment and reconnect it by pulling back on the handle to start your machine.

The TEC SHORTBLOCKS overload protector kit protects the compressor in your refrigeration machine. This kit is for refrigerators up to 20 tons and sizze 27. It includes a Btu reset button, overload relay, and reset link.

The K90-27 OVERLOAD RELAY kit is a new addition to the TEC machine protection mechanism line of products. It was designed specifically for applications using the TEC SHORTBLOCKS K90 series of power stages. The product is supplied preinstalled in a TEC factory assembled KS90-05/KES90-05/KES90-12/KS90-24 vacuum switch module and includes two connectors.

The TEC 25 K90-27 overload kit comes with a 100-300A rated relay and manual reset PTC fuse. The TEC25K90-27 will allow up to 300A to pass through the breaker before it trips off. For a more permanent solution, consider an electronic overload protector such as the 25KA02 that will trip the load if excessive current is flowing through the output.

The K90-27 is a shortblocks kit that includes (1) K90-27 Circuit Board, (2) K90-21 Strain Relays, (2) Thermal Limit Control Thermistor, (1) Power Supply Board, (4) Heat Sinks, (2) Heat Sink Screws. These Overload Relay Kits are preconfigured to TEC's current electrical drawings and can be ordered with or without a full schematic including an external overload relay.
