This Wired Remote Outdoor Sensor is compatible with the following manufacturers' equipment: Trane, American Standard, Carrier, Comfortmaker and Rheem. Only the KWIK-2 can transmit up to two different thermostats to this sensor. This indoor sensor should be installed close to your thermostat inside the heated living space on an additional wall or floor outlet where it will be protected from outside weather conditions. This outdoor sensor needs to be installed away from major sources of noise.
