The Trane DHY1470 5/8x1/2 16CuIn Filter Drier 5/8x1/2 16CuIn Filter Drier is a pre-filter drier that protects your system against the damaging effects of dust, pollen, soot, sand, and dirt. If your HVAC system has one installed, you'll need to replace it before your heating and cooling season begins. Replacement typically consists of removing the capacitor and detaching the wires, followed by installing the new part.

A filter drier is used to extend the time between installed filter replacements. This Trane Filter Drier has a 5/8" x 1/2" inlet and outlet connections. It is designed for use with Trane Storex, Mid-Range, Automatic Comfort Control and Digital Comfort Control air conditioning models.
