The Trane transition receptacle is to be used when replacing a plumbing vent with the Trane Transition Duct Kit. It can be ordered with or without screws from inside of the old vent.
The transition receptacle is for use in connecting the condensate line from a point on the existing indoor coil to the transition fitting. Most transition fittings have been factory installed and supplied with screws and/or compressions for connection of the transition to the condensate pipe at the outdoor unit. It is designed to accommodate various pipe sizes It is best to check local codes to ensure proper installation.
The transition receptacle is used in blending applications where you mix electricity and/or gas from two different sources and then connect them to a third source. This USUALLY occurs when your home or business receives its power from one source (grid power) and you wish to add a generator for backup power, or when you are hooking up a generator to power an electric gas heater.
The RCS Series Power Receptacle replaces the power receptacle on the transition piece between the gas meter and the gas main stub.
Screws only, not a complete assembly.
The 18A/250V 3-prong receptacle is used to switch from older two wire series connected plugs and light fixtures to the newer NEMA 5-15R (3 wire) system.
