The Trane RLY0902 230V DPDT Relay works with the Tracer III product line. The RLY0902 mounts on the top of the unit and protects it from power surge and brown out conditions that occur when water is in the unit. It protects against short circuit conditions such as when ice forms on the fan blades preventing them from rotating causing a short in the system .
