Transformers are indispensable tools for the electricity experimenter. The 230 V/10 V transformer is used to step down (transform Down) the 230 VAC power supply to a lower voltage while keeping the voltage current output constant (10). This transformer will run on 115 VAC and can be used in both directions. This transformer should not be overloaded and is not water-resistant.

Transformers are designed to regulate the voltage of a circuit. Use this replacement transformer with your Star model 00624UVB, model 00623AVB, and model 00625CVB ultraviolet germicidal sterilization system.

The constant voltage transformer (cvt) is a device that converts the primary (120V-230V) voltage to the output voltage (10V, 12V, 24V/15~30V/15~27V). It automatically ensures the correct voltage output and maintains low noise. The cvt is combined with several functions in order to be used with all types of power supplies including inverters, k31's and other switching power supplies that require input voltages from 90-250V.
