The Amana 53002006 transformer is used for select Amana brand electric dryers, gas dryers, and combination electric/gas dryers.

The TRANSFORMER for Amana serves as an additional panel for the Amana brand of gas ranges and ovens.

The TRANSFORMER replaces the defective wall control for your Amana product with a new control that allows compatibility with today's digital thermostats.

The Amana TRANSFORMER is designed specifically to replace and fit into KENMORE electric dryers. This original equipment part is UL certified.

The transformer is used in all Amana manufactured gas, electric and Particle Board Panel heaters. The transformer features a modular plug system for replacing the standard plug on most made after 1989 units. Service parts include the connector/plug kit 75008403, connector/plug kit 75013221, and the remote hook-up assembly 79002311."
