This model is equipped with anti-fog, anti-scratch lenses that are able to withstand extreme high temperatures (up to 750 degrees) due to their Uvex Thermo #8 material composition. The frames are made using Duoflex? material which flexes and returns to its original shape after impact, helping to maintain the structural integrity of the glasses.
The 2000-Series of Astrospec? 3000 eyewear provides the only ANSI/ISEA approved combination of wrap-around protection, minimal weight and compact size. The 2000 Series features a soft, non-slip rubber nosepiece that fits comfortably on your face, impact resistant polycarbonate lenses 165 mm in length x 55 mm viewing size, unique hinge design which allows +/- 10 +/- 3 degrees of movement for individualized fit, comfort headband & temple pads, anti-fog coating.

Meets or exceeds the requirements of the U.S. Military Ballistic MCEPS SPIE-JULLET-DELAGE (MIL SPEC MIL-PRF-31013) impact, optical and visual acuity performance, both sides. Contains UV400 Filter that blocks glare from all angles and protects your eyes from dangerous UV radiation to improve your vision.
