Our Flare series 3/4" non-reversing valve offers safety, durability, flexibility and accuracy. This non-reversing valve allows selectable flow in either direction, with 3 to 6 pounds per square inch (PSI) capability. The rotary handle is patented to prevent tripping or accidental rotation when in use, encouraging safe operation. A perfect inline solution when your application calls for versatility and performance without the fuss of hose connections.

When you have a low line pressure pneumatic application, the 9413 valve lets you operate the flow pump from the top valve without an adapter. The basic design, which includes a 15/16" hex-shaped outlet fitting to match the industry standard fitting of N.O. cylinders, makes this two-way handle easier to grasp and reduces line pressure drops caused by multiple valves and/or high lift appliances such as air-conditioning units and swimming pool pumps.

The 9413/9413A is a one-piece, two-way, medium duty, non-locking flare valve. The center plate assembly is designed for easy disassembly for servicing.

Designed for use in fluid control, Johnson Controls Flare 2-way hydraulic pressure valves are used where a positive shut off valve is required. The use of a rigid stem or cartridge is optional for this style pump. For further flare connection options, refer to the NPT styles. They also offer interchangeable components that simplify ordering and inventory control when used to replace obsolete valve types.

The valve is located on the bottom of the compressor (or manifold), and provides an opening for air to enter/exit the compressor after it passes through the regulator. The valve has always been a weak area on compressors, especially if they are used in an undersized application. The valve seat may become corroded causing the valve to stick, leak, not stay shut correctly or cause premature failure of the entire compressor.
