V-GARD H1 - The V-GARD H1 is a tri-lens clear half-frame for spectacle lenses use with the signature V-GARD aluminum frame. This product provides 99.9% UV protection, and has a protective lens on the blind side of viewing area.

The V-GARD H1 features a dual-lens lens. The superior polycarbonate lens is scratch-resistant, impact-resistant, and meets the high demands of motocross. The inner lens is a softer PVC to increase comfort, minimize distortion and provide 100% UV protection. Your VIRTUS HALF FACE helmet will fit standard helmet mounts, as well as MOST universal mounting systems.

The V-GARD H1 offers all the benefits of a half-mask respirator, with the wide vision of a full-face. This is the smallest and lightest half-mask model from MSA that provides superior filtration while offering a wider field of view than most other half-masks.

The V-GARD H1 is a half mask certified to be used in atmospheres where fluorine and chlorine oxides are present. This half-mask provides excellent protection from gases, vapors, and particles. The supply air is filtered using Dental Grade High Efficiency (HEPA) filters with a refrigerated recirculation system.

Designed with the latest technology, the V-Gard H1 filter lens meets ANSI Z87+ standards for high velocity flame and impact protection. The distortion-free, scratch resistant lenses provide 99% UVA/B protection and have a wraparound design that minimizes side leakage while providing a wide field of view through clear poly carbonate that meets ANSI Z41 standards for impact resistance.
