Designed with the safety and performance of today's increasingly sophisticated heating and cooling systems in mind, the Honeywell (68153) 3/4" to 2" Integrated Valve Train Butterfly Gas Valve delivers ultimate performance with each installation. This valve is integrated into the valve train and produces accurate percentage modulation control for a more efficient heating or cooling operation. The valve has a 1/8-turn mechanism that ensures excellent valve life. It also has a low carbon steel body with stainless steel stem that provides corrosion resistance to outdoor weather conditions, and can be used with an optional gas-actuated pilot burner control that provides greater safety.

The Honeywell 3/4" to 2" Integrated Valve Train Butterfly Gas Valve allows a wide variety of valve train options for system builders and retrofit applications. This valve is designed for gaseous fuels, including propane and natural gas, and use in systems operating under 5 psi. The butterfly valve can be used as a primary or secondary valve with optional accessories. For sec  ondary use, the molded ball seat seal is Buna-n with a neoprene seat ring seal.

This is a new style of gas valve that replaces 3/4" Dia. Butterfly Valves on both the intake and exhaust side as well as 4 in. & 6 in. butterfly valves on either or both sides of the engine. It works in engines with mechanical throttle, electronic throttle, and ECU throttles where a 1" wide valve opening is required at WOT (Wide Open Throttle) for proper engine operation. The butterfly style provides is more compact than the fishtail style valve where controls are mounted from above rather than on the face of the valve.
