The V8043E1137 is a 24 VDC 2-way normally closed zone valve with three threaded port connections. The unit is rated at 0.5 A at 24 VDC. It can be used in residential and light commercial applications where control of a single zone is required and constant pressure is not required.

The Honeywell 24V zone valve (V8043E1137) can control existing 1" sized unheated baseboard heaters and radiators, to allow you to set the temperature at which they should operate. This valve is a normally closed valve, which will allow cold water to circulate through your system until the desired room temperature has been reached. This valve is also bi-directional so that it can be set so that it only allows hot water to circulate when necessary. The V8043E1137 has a built-in heat anticipator, a 120° F limit stop and an adjustable differential.

The V8043E1137 features a 20 mA (milliamp) current-limiting circuit to protect the device. Built-in two conductive plastic thermal limit switches allows easy wiring and installation of the zone valve. The two conductive thermal limit switches act as an overheat protection device.

This Zone Valve provides zoning for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) applications. It features a cast iron body, NEMA 4X rated construction, a fully assembled PVC drain port, a single handle lever operator (reduced throw), flow rate of 0.5 gpm at 30 PSI and brass/stainless steel Swagelok connection.
