The Honeywell V8043F Series 24 Volt 3/4" 2-Way Zone Valve with Auxiliary Switch can be used to control hot water, steam or zone heating.  It's a thermostatic mixing valve designed for use on indirect hot water systems and steam systems having multiple taps or outlets. This mixing valve allows the installer to control individual hot water zones by utilizing valves and actuators in as many locations as needed during the installation. The valve assembly is located at an intermediate point between the supply source and the zone served.
