With over 100 years experience in valves, the quality of Johnson Controls ball valves is unrivalled. Every Johnson Controls valve is field tested for durability and performance before leaving the factory. Each valve's characteristic flow curve confirms that it conforms to standards before it leaves. As industry standards evolve, so do our designs - giving you the best performance possible.

"Our Quick-Drain valves feature a built-in stop position outlet above the NPT threads. This unique design provides a full on-off controllable flow and eliminates the need for on/off controls on the mixing module. It also allows for more convenient installation as one supply line can drain to either side of the valve, depending on the piping configuration".

A ball valve is a type of valve used to control the flow of a pressurized fluid. It is operated by rotating a handle attached to a stem which extends through the body of the valve. The plug is the main body of the valve, usually threaded, with hole for insertion of an actuator. Balls are usually hollow metal balls filled with some type of fluid to aid in the sealing of ports on removable bonnets, caps, covers, or flanges. Ball valves are used for isolation purposes in many applications, including building services and hydraulic systems.

A ball valve is a quarter-turn valve for controlling the flow of gas or liquid in a pipe. A ball valve has two principal parts, a hollow sphere and a rod in the center of the sphere. Turning the handle in one direction closes the opening in the ball, while turning it in the other direction opens it. For convenience, most ball valves have handles molded onto the rod, but separate handles are also available.

Johnson Controls offers the broadest range of valves, instrumentation and systems for buildings, industry, transportation and HVAC. Our vision is to bring customers the best building solutions by combining our global capabilities in air quality management, climate control, electronics and software, fire safety, HVAC control, measurement and control devices. We are committed to helping eliminate energy waste through better buildings.

Twenty years ago, with the launch of the i-Bus System, Johnson Controls became the first business in the world to incorporate field devices into a completely networked building. Today, with a complete line of i-Bus compatible products, we continue this leadership in HVAC solutions. The Johnson Controls integrated building systems enable architects and engineers to integrate heating, cooling, lighting and telecom technologies in order to achieve energy efficiency across their entire facility.
