The 35482 1/2" 3-Way Pneumatic Mixing Valve Assembly with 9-Quick Connect Port is designed to be used with the Heat Tracing Units available in the Control Components product line. This assembly allows for three heating zones, with two pumps and three valves. This mixing valve provides differential pressure compensation within the heated trace system to prevent over pressurization.

This 1/2" 3-way Pneumatic Mixing Valve Assembly with 9-Inch FIP Duct from Johnson Controls comes ready to install and provide 1-1/2" of mixing headroom for pneumatic signal routing applications. The male NPT ports on this model measure 1/8" NPT. The male pipe threads have a 1/2" IPS measurement.

The limit switch operates the 1/2" 3-way pneumatic mixing valve assembly. When the temperature in the electric heater is set, the temperature of the incoming Hot Water will be between 120-145 degrees F. This temperature range is sufficient to activate the hot water diverter board which controls the heating function of this assembly.

This valve kit contains one 3-way pneumatic mixing valve assembly with manual override, 1/2" supply tube, 1/2" fill tube to fill air modular tanks.

An expansion-type mixing valve similar to that on Hayward Superclean, Pentair SunnyTec, and American Products E-515. This valve is used primarily to mix returnlines with returns. The handle on the mixing valve is threaded so it can be screwed into the wall or submersed in the water. A seal around the handle ensures no water leaks through the handle. This is an 'open' style mixing valve allowing water to flow unrestricted between all ports.
