Our 6" Globe Valve 3-Way Mixing Equal Percent Backflow Preventer permits a reduction in water supply pressure when needed. The Globe Valve has no moving parts to wear out and never needs maintenance. It is suitable for cold or hot water service to avoid freeze-ups in winter and scalding risks in summer.

The 118175 offers a three-way mixing equal percentage. Its metal flanged globe body allows fast installation and easy access to the threaded ports. The unit is suitable for liquid propane, natural gas, and direct vent applications. The check is not included with this unit.

Mixing equal percent means that if you have 10%, 20% and 70% of your injection charge, the mixing will be done in the order that the percentages are set up. If your ratio is set up as 1%, 2%, 78%, the mixing will be done as follows: 1% + 2% + 78% = 80%. 1% + 78% = 79%. 78% + 2% = 80%.
