Designed for use as a high-temperature, fully modulating hydronic variable flow valve, the VLV TXV 5/8x5/8 ODF 98.0 PSIG from York was engineered using innovative technology to deliver effective and efficient hydraulic performance.

The York VLV (variable load valve) TXV (thermostatic expansion valve) 5/8' x 5/8' ODF (orifice diameter fitting) 98.0 PSIG is among the most common style of gas valves installed in most homes today. The ATS York VLV TXV 5/8' x 5/8' ODF 98.0 PSIG for between 8' and 15' ceilings is designed with a matching flare adapter to handle multiple set up possibilities.

The York HIM with a 5/8 x 5/8 ODF refrigeration expansion valve designed with a durable brass body that is resistant to corrosion, and a double collar design with a TXV that is suitable for heat pumps, CH systems. Industry designed with ANSI Code requirements as an expansion valve.

A York® exclusive, the Smart-Flex® bimetal coil affords a 5/8 in. x 5/8 in. orifice and operates up to 98 psi to meet the demands of high efficiency heating and cooling equipment. Its Teflon®-coated O-rings prevent leakage between tube and casing, a Sure-Grip® bimetal blade lever is easily adjusted to regulate fluid flow to match load conditions, and a Smart-Flex® orifice mounting plate offers greater ease of orifice alignment for easier installation.
