The Spirotherm VTP-050 is the only 1/2" SPIROTOP AIR RELEASE top available. It is used on tanks having a 1/2" pipe outlet. The main virtue of the spirotop is the combination of functionality and aesthetics. Other air release top designs do not release gas through small holes, thus they have to be open and this makes it difficult to install and remove them.

The Spirotherm VTP-050 is a unique non-pressurized, vacuum form top unit that produces air injected panels through the use of thermal forming. This transformational technique makes polymer insulating materials into durable and lasting products. It uses 1/2" Spirotop air release tops (Reduce or eliminate unwanted convection currents without resorting to pressurized cavities) and accepts single wall two and three ply insulation all in one panel.

The Spirotherm SPIROTOP air release twist top can be used on multi-liter pots with a 1/2" neck.
