Communicating Economizer

The communicating economizer logic module (ECLM) provides the optional abilities of communication with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), programming for various parameters, remote alarming, as well as operating in conjunction with the Honeywell 20F temperature sensor.

The W7342A1001 is a communicating economizer logic module that is designed to control the thermostat of the WXR-600 Energy-Efficient Gas Furnace. It allows for simplified programming when used with the Honeywell WIFI thermostat, as well as the ability to communicate error codes for troubleshooting purposes.

This Honeywell Econizer Logic Module connects the controls of an economizer in HVAC systems with Modbus protocol. When the economizer is installed on a high-temperature source, it lowers the heating and cooling set points, allowing for more energy savings. The Honeywell 313413 W7342A1001 ECONOMIZER LOGIC MODULE helps you replace an existing, faulty economizer control unit quickly and easily. This product is used mainly in commercial ventilation and environmental systems. It controls the outdoor air economizer damper position in response to the actual room temperature, eliminating wasted energy when the outside air is cooler than that inside.

For applications in which energy costs run high and/or comfort level is critical, Honeywell offers the Economizer Logic Module that communicates with the Building Automation System to help optimize indoor climate control. The ELCM directs outdoor air into the building when outside conditions are favorable, such as during dusk in winter months, avoiding unnecessary heating.
