The Western Enterprises MB-70 is a 7-ton capacity block. The MB-70 is designed for a wide range of uses in food processing. Typical applications include chicken cutters, meat grinders, sausage stuffers, and conveyor belt scales. This unit offers multiple ways to mount it: Horizontal mounting with #10 bolts, vertical mounting on a T-rail, or flat against the wall. The scale contains (2) - 3/4" diameter x 2 1/2" long Stainless Steel scales that are adjustable for block uniformity and durability that makes this an ideal choice for many food processing applications.

The MB-70 series offers production block and clamping solutions for steel building components. The MB-70 blocks are manufactured from heavy gauge carbon steel frames with zinc plated or galvanized surfaces. Each frame is fitted with a wooden shoe and bolster block for stability on line work, while giving additional rigidity to the frame. For added safety when using the MB-70 in conjunction with the WE MB Power Clamp, 3/8" channel has been welded to the bottom of each frame so screws can be inserted directly through the channel into the floor without causing damage to the floor. The Western Enterprises MB-70 is a solid block with 0.065" holes through the entire block. The holes are 1/2" on center and can be tapped directly to ANSI B18.20.1 or ASME B18.20.3. This block is considered a printed or engraved type blank for B18.20 deep drawn forged steel pipe flanges. This product is designed to be used for high pressure applications, and should NOT be used in situations that generate very high temperatures or where the pressures generated are too low to hold flanges to these types of blocks.
