The Vent Saftey Switch 200F senses the temperature of the air from the ducts and turns on if the air temperature from the ducts rises to over 200Â°F. If overloaded or otherwise malfunctioning, it will also turn on. The Vent Saftey Switch 200F has a neon indicator light, an internal built-in thermal fuse (3 amp times 3 second), an external 19" power cord and a 15 ft (4.6 m) range from duct to sensor.

The William Saftey Switch 200F is a two position, right angle switch designed to interlock with exhaust ventilation systems. This switch is used to prevent the release of harmful gases into occupied areas when the system is not operating and ventilation doors are open.

This vent safety switch is designed to protect the installer and the homeowner from the hidden hazard of a clogged vent system by automatically shutting down the unit in the event it malfunctions.
