The Y04-30464-000 4W Solenoid Valve is designed to be used with the York Varitherm 4 thermostat. This valve is mainly used for applications that require heat on/off control. Using this valve, the heat will stay on until the temperature is dropped below the set point of the thermostat. This is a 4W solenoid valve designed to close when an electrical signal is applied. The 4W, in conjunction with the 2W solenoid valve, may be used for applications requiring continual on/off control. When the control signal is interrupted the valve will energize and spring open to its normal position. There are two positions for this valve, normally open or normally closed.
