When York built this 10HP 1770RPM 3P60HZ 215T TEFC 36" shaft, they did it with the idea of keeping your factory warranty from being voided, if it's installed in the only York machine that takes this motor. Sources tell us technicians at other brands have informally told them they wouldn't honor a service call on a machine that had a York motor installed. It should be easy to convert this to other brands using adapters.
