The York® S1 Series is a collection of air-cooled, high-speed, high-volume convection heaters for high-humidity applications. This heat exchanger is designed specifically for thermal oil and dry-type air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The START ASSIST function enables the unit to be started immediately without the inconvenience of waiting 30 minutes, which is required by the industry standard for compressor protection.

The York S1 High Efficiency water heater is perfect for a variety of residential and commercial needs. This high efficiency gas-fired unit provides a constant flow of hot water at a 45,000 Btu output. It can be used either in a hydronic or radiant configuration. The START ASSIST electrical system automatically starts the unit whenever the thermostat calls for water to be heated. If there is power outage, the 24-hour timer will allow the unit to just run long enough to get the tank warm before shutting off to prevent burner damage.

The York S1-024-25398-000 START ASSIST is a 1/2 HP tank-type gas heat pump condenser. This is a self-contained unit which includes the compressor, fan, and outdoor coil. It has a 14.4 SEER rating with R410A refrigerant, heated coil only indoor unit. The unit has an Ionizer for energy efficiency when in heating or cooling mode. The anti-corrosion, all copper contactor requires the use of VH4-004 start capacitor.
