The A/R Limit Switch is a solid-state, MICRO-ELECTRONICS controlled circuit that provides forward feed limit control over an air-cooled gas turbine. The device senses the air flow in the section of the system in which it is located. If the air flow exceeds the predetermined amount, the switch produces a signal to stop the primary fuel valve from admitting fuel to the turbine. This device is used on small and medium-sized gas turbines to protect against over fueling.
