The York 45-55F SPST limit switch with side port is designed to provide protection for compressors, air handlers, fans, or blowers, and prevents the devices from overheating. This SPDT limit switch has a spring return and a max load of 60A @ 120VAC. It has a 3/8"-18 threaded stud and mounting holes in 1/4" increments to accommodate a wide variety of enclosures. It features an operating temperature range of 37-57C (SW-558).

This limit switch is designed to limit the flow of liquid through a device under pressure. The operating temperature range (F) is 45 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

The York Limit Switch provides convenient temperature control of HVAC systems. Its fully hardened copper alloy stem will withstand the corrosive effects of an indoor environment. The permanent three-way blade connects to normally closed contacts to turn heating/cooling equipment on when temperature reaches 55°F and off when temperature drops to 45°F.

This product is a general purpose, normally open limit switch. The switch has one normally open set/reset type SPDT contacts. The switch is adjustable with set screws on the black lever between two Bakelite bases. A small motion of the lever creates a potential-free position in its slot. For example, when the red wire is in electrical contact with terminal 1, movement of the black lever in any upward direction will break electric connection between terminals 1 & 2.
