This WHITE-RODGERS hot surface ignitor is made for durability and long lasting performance. It features a construction that provides more reliability in the field, its wire lead type is a push in plug with a lead to connect, and it has a high voltage current of 20.0 amps.
HOT SURFACE ignitor removes the possibility of flame-out from faulty burner valve heaters. Eliminates nuisance pilot valve failure and intermittent ignition systems, making for a safer indoor gas lighting system. The ignitor features a glass-filled nylon housing and is suitable for Class 1, Division 2 and 3 locations. This product must be used in accordance with local and national electrical codes. The White-Rodgers Hot Surface Ignitor is designed to work with your existing electrical system. It replaces and bypasses the existing safety switch, reducing the potential for a fire. The assembly is connected in series after the breaker or fuses with the furnace high limit switch, but before the transformer. The 767A-371 power pack incorporates three single pole THERMOSTATIC TRIP HOBS, a thermal cut-off switch and a main voltage interrupter with internal overload protection. The 767A-371 may be used on any gas burner of sufficient size, including open burner installations.
