The Honeywell 1746 is a commercial well assembly, 3 inch length. This stainless steel assembly can be used with 1-1/2" insulated pipes and is approved for use with mineral or drinking water.

This well is used in conjunction with part number 1747; 1748; 1749 and 1750. It is a short version in order to accommodate the need to put it under the mounting plate of the pump. The body is made of machined copper with a 1/2" NPT female threaded top.

The most commonly used well assembly features an NPT fitting for well depth less than 40" and a 1" tube x 2-3/16" barb coupling with nut for well depth greater than 40". Well and pump must have multiple connections. For proper installation, it is recommended that these be installed by a licensed installer or plumber.

The 1746 Well Assembly, Copper, 3 inch length is a replacement part for the Honeywell 1740 humidifier. The well assembly measures approximately 1-1/32" by 3-3/32" by 2-3/8" and includes a 3/4" NPT connection. This part can also be found in the Honeywell part numbers 1745 (white) and 1747 (black).
