DESCRIPTION: MCDONNELL & MILLER 3846 BLOW DOWN VALVE-BALL TYPE, INCLUDES GASKET FOR 47,247,67,70B 310447.

Blow down valve-ball type designed for use with gas engines and appliances, including dryers, cookers, and all other gas appliancesrequiring a compressed air blow down.

This ball type blow down valve is designed for 3/4" & 1" NCB-18 Centrifugal Pumps, Centrifugal Pump Chassis, centrifugal pump closure kits. Includes instruction sheet and gasket.

The Blow Down Valve assembly is used for emptying water from the lines and tanks of a water pump system and may have a ball on the valve or stem to force the pistons open as it passes.

Replace gas tank blow down valves with this identical replacement enabled by Miller's exclusive "universal design" system. For more information call 800-645-3287. If you are ordering a replacement blow down valve, you will need a service kit 380011 for installation.

The Blow Down Valves are designed for use with either aluminum or copper coils in either fresh- or saltwater applications. The Blower functions as a self-cleaning blowdown device, by which water is forced through the coil, then discharged overboard. The air baffle restricts water flow to the coil while permitting adequate oxygen flow.
