BLOW DOWN VALVE-BALL TYPE, INCLUDES

BLOW DOWN VALVE-BALL TYPE, INCLUDES GASKET FOR MACHINERY. THEREFORE, IT IS NECESSARY TO USE THE CONSUMER'S INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO

Do you have a metal air cylinder that has blown out? Did you know that the ball valve/ball type blow down valve was also constructed with a specific type of Metal and it has been replaced by the flat disk ones ? Mcdonell & Miller today manufactures two different blow down valves, one being  the ball type (with shoulder) and the other being flat disk style. There is an easy way to tell what if they are ball type or flat disk style. The ones with the shoulder are used in some of our Air Cylinders .

Replace valve for any system with a 2-1/2 inch or larger port and has a gas orifice diameter of 1/8 inch. To be used on parts where blow down is required. Gasket included. Ball type, inflexible valve with cylinder body and piston rod that fits into brass bushing having an integral rubber orifice ring. Used with carburetors to prevent excess accumulation of unburned gasoline in the controlled emission system of an internal combustion engine.

This blow down valve is a low-energy relief valve for use with stud gage compression couplings and threaded air line couplings. The ball type valve features an internal spring that opens the valve at a specific pressure to relieve slowly pressure in excess of 100psi.

A ball and jam type blow down valve is used in lift stations to control pressure in the lift station piping. The valve is opened by a remote switch for maintenance or at regular intervals to drain water from the lines.

The blow-down valve is a one piece cast brass ball valve. The socket on the end of the stem screws into ball and seats against the valve seat. The blow-down valves are shipped with a gasket for between the top and bottom pieces of your regulator housing. Note: This part does not fit 47B, 47S, or 70B regulators.

The Blow Down Valve is the simplest way to drain excessive pressure in a liquid propane (LP) gas system when the heater is not in use. The valve consists of a pintel-style diaphragm, large spring loaded ball, O-ring and silicone rubber gasket. The Blow Down Valve comes complete with an adapter designed to be attached to the liquid line and mounted on a manifold shut-off valve.
