The BULKHEAD-2 is a resilient, tough 2” x 4” extruded polystyrene (XPS) packboard material that works great for shipping or storage of frozen foods. This material is also referred to as BULKHEAD Insulation Board. It is strong and non-corrosive which makes it perfect for shipping and storage.

The BULKHEAD-2 is designed to be mounted directly to the wall inside of a pond and is available in two different configurations. One configuration allows for the entire assembly to be located above the water level, creating a reservoir suitable for ponds ranging from 7,000 to 20,000 gallons depending on desired depth. The other configuration allows for the unit to be installed below the normal water line in order to provide a modest waterfall around the perimeter of the pond. This design is ideal for ponds ranging from 2,400 gallons up to 10,000 gallons.

The BULKHEAD-2 is a high-quality machined bulkhead adapter fitting that you can use for all your custom hose routing needs. The BULKHEAD-2 is compatible only with 1/4" I.D. (inside diameter) tubing, including garden hose and various brands of 1/4" air hoses, such as Flexzilla airhoses, Moxy air hoses, Smart Air air hoses, etc.

The BULKHEAD-2 is a perforated plate of high-quality material, with a special gelant fiber coating inside. It can be used for connecting multiple reservoirs or containers in the aquarium using silicone.
