Normandie Battlegrounds is a 15mm WWII wargames campaign expansion, including 2 new beginner's scenarios, two additional campaign scenarios, and extra terrain, mini's and objectives. The Shattered Jewel Campaign continues through the summer of 1944 with the focus shifting south to Brittany, where General Patton’s 3rd Army prepares to take its part in Lt. Gen. Bradley’s Operation Cobra offensive. There are two new introductory scenarios (one involving US forces, plus one including German tanks pitted against British infantry), plus two new campaigns.

Normandie: Battlegrounds is a set of double-sided card buildings to construct a village, battlefield or any other WWII terrain. Included with the set are extra weapons cards, with which you can activate special weapon effects.

Normandy 1944 Campaign - The Normandy Battlegrounds simulates the battles of the British, Canadian and American forces as they fought to capture the German-held port of Caen in northwestern France.

The Battlefields were designed for use with 15mm figures, and we recommend 1:2 for WW2 and 1:1.5-1:3 for Napoleonic. Each set contains 3x battlefields - allowing you to field a wide variety of forces ranging from infantry only up to the largest of forces, with artillery.

According to the plan, they will advance alongside their British allies towards crossings over the Seine through the bocage (hedged fields) and eventually seal off the beachhead once and for all.

Normandy is the largest continuous stretch of land to be liberated during World War II. The four scenarios in this book have been designed to help recreate the experiences of the British 6th Airborne Division, which landed on D-Day, 6 June 1944, and quickly pushed inland toward their objectives 6km away, the villages of Ranville and Bréville.
