The Brush Research BC Flex-Hone features flexible abrasive globules bonded to individual bristles, allowing the tool to self-center and self-align within a bore for consistent, controlled surface finishing. Designed for cylinder walls, hydraulic cylinders, and similar bores, it produces a smooth plateau finish that improves lubrication retention and reduces wear.
This 2-3/4" (70mm) model uses 320 grit silicon carbide abrasive, making it well suited for fine finishing passes where a smooth, uniform crosshatch pattern is required. Compatible with standard drill motors and suitable for use with honing oil or cutting fluid for optimal results.
