The UN270190Z is a Basic Cap, Valve Replacement for the Aqua-Pure AP900 Reverse Osmosis System. The RO cap controls the flow rate of the water as it enters the storage tank. Every six (6) months, or sooner if your water pressure fluctuates, you should replace both your carbon filter and valve cap to ensure undisturbed performance.
This United Aqua Group 270190Z cap, valve replacement is made of durable plastic with a solid brass valve core. This part is designed to fit several United Aqua Group models such as the 28000 model, 24000 model and many others.
For a simple replacement of the valve cap in your Prest-O-Fit water bottle, choose the United Aqua Group 270190Z Cap, Valve Replacement. This is a white cap replacement designed to be super easy to install on your water bottle's old valve cap. This saves you the hassle of having to buy a whole new bottle.
The previous cap, valve and packing may be removed. Remove the valve stem assembly. Install the new valve stem assembly, P/N 270190-B, into the water drain. Seat and install the new cap. Pack around the new cap with special packing compound, P/N 270190S-A, or equivalent. Install weep hole plug, P/N 270190-C, into the bottom of the vessel to prevent water evaporation, if desired. Align the vent holes on top of cap with vent hole in tank wall. Mount onto tank and install all mounting hardware.
