The 5098 thermostat is a snap disc thermostat with a 10.5 volt coil and a 150 degree rise cut-out. It is the ideal replacement when you need to replace your old 110/150 cut-out thermostat.

The 5098 indoor thermostat is a snap disc type of thermostat for controlling gas-fired heating systems requiring manuel reset. Since the snap disc mechanism is designed for easy winterization, it can be used without affecting the heating system and its accessories that are normally in operation. The snap disc cuts off the gas by allowing gas pressure to rise within the system during ignition flame failure. Switches will cycle off when primary sensor detects high temperature or low temperature conditions.
