The WHITE-RODGERS 5113 Thermostat is suitable for all types of heating systems, including various fuels (gas, oil and coal) and different heating systems. It is suitable for use in both new installations or renovation projects. This THERMOSTAT has a SPST (single pole single throw) ON/OFF switch. The thermostat can be used with systems that require up to 40F degree differential and a snap disc limit control covering the temperature range from 135 to 175 degrees Fahrenheit (57C to 80C).

The difference between comfort and cost. The White-Rodgers 5113 Thermostat is a snap-disc limit control thermostat that limits electric baseboard heat to 135 or 175 F. It is operated by a SPST switch that rises approximately 40 F when closed.

The SPST snap disc limit control permits stable control when the snap disc is adjusted.  The snap disc limit control is factory set to open at 45°F (7°C) and close on rise when the temperature reaches 135 °F 1238 °C (275 F).  This SPST Thermostat switches between heating and cooling systems.

The White-Rodgers 5113 Thermostat is a snap disc limit control thermostat that comes with a white face and mounting hardware. It has three terminals and a SPST switch. This thermostat is designed for heating systems with an operating temperature range of 135 to 175 F (57 to 80 C) or cooling systems with an operating temperature range of 40 F to 120 F (4 to 49 C). It's rated for 120/240 VAC and 3450 watts max. The snap disc limit control automatically switches the heating or cooling system off at a preset temperature unless the temperature rises above the preset temperature.

Snap disc limit control is used on baseboard heaters with a snap disc as the temperature sensing element. It has an adjustable snap disc position that can be set to match the temperature of the heating element. The unit will cycle on and off as needed to keep operating temperature within 3-5°F of set point.

The 5113 Series is a snap disc limit control designed to protect against over-temperature conditions. The limit control is kept closed by means of a spring. When the temperature reaches a predetermined value the disc snaps, opening the limit control and allowing excess steam to exhaust.
