BOARD MOUNT LIMIT CONTROL

The White-Rodgers 1/2 inch bimetal Board Mount Limit Control provides safety and convenience in one package. The control is available in normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) configurations. If ordering the NC, it can be used as a limit control or as an on-off temperature control by wiring the contacts directly together. If ordering the NC, simply reverse the leads and it can be used as an on/off temperature control.

The 78163 is a bimetal limit control designed for board mount applications requiring a mechanically latching, spring actuated control. The controls are factory set with a 4-1/2 in (114 mm) fully open (no load) position and a 2-3/4 in (70 mm) fully closed (full load). The 78163 limit control is designed for use with gas, oil and air furnaces.
