The replacement reset actuator for the Honeywell V8043A "50 Series Emergency Release System and the Honeywell 7D3T40 Emergency Release System allows you to program your emergency release system to directly or through a separate panic button. The actuator for the Honeywell V8043A "50 Series Emergency Release System is compatible with any Honeywell series 50 panel and works with either a PS9967A or XXAP9967 1/2-inch exit device. To install, simply remove the old actuator and snap in the replacement.

This is a Direct Replacement for the V8043A "50/50~75/90 Series. This is not a generic replacement product, but an exact factory-matched part. The Honeywell Part Number for this item is 40003916-5.

For more comfort, add a dimmer to the standard on/off switch. The Honeywell Round 42" Nylon Black Pull is easy to install. This replacement actuator fits V8043A only. (Comes with one actuator.)

The V8043 is a conventional room thermostat with four (4) function terminals. The replacement actuator requires circuit board type H7553 and #40 style terminal screws. The actuator housing holds up to a .250" (6.3mm) diameter wire in the wirelet (D). It has a 0.20" (5.1mm) long by 0.08" (2.0mm) wide cup rectifier hole and measures 1.5" (38mm) tall by 2.35" (60mm) wide, exclusive of the mounting bosses at 2.85"

The V8043A is a high-capacity, constant-air circulation fan. This model will move up to 50 cubic feet of air per minute and can be installed in any position. It has a 3" flange diameter design and comes with a 12' power cord with integrated strain relief and three 2-prong plugs that are UL listed for use in the US and Canada.

The V8043A thermostat has a 1/4" NPT connection that allows it to work with other Honeywell thermostats, motion sensors, and smoke alarms.
