Comfort Alert Module - Single Phase

The Comfort Alert Module is used with Rheem single-stage water heater models to monitor the temperature of the water within the tank. When the temperature is outside the desired temperature range, the Comfort Alert Module will sound an audible alarm. Both stage and variable speed hot water supplies use this module for temperature control.

The Comfort Alert Module operates in conjunction with the RHEEM Comfort Alert thermostat. Using room temperature to activate, the module uses a high voltage relay to sound a local audible alarm and the RHEEM Comfort Alert thermostat will display an alert message when temperature reaches an unacceptable level. The Comfort Alert Module can be used in a wide variety of applications from single phase compressor applications to water heaters, boilers, and more, where additional applications are required for different probes or wiring configurations.

The Comfort Alert Module senses the outside temperature through a sensor and activates your furnace blower whenever it is cold enough to need it. This eliminates the annoying high speed running associated with cold-weather starts. Includes one 10 foot thermostat wire, one (1) 24 volt transformer and one junction box.

Simply program your RHEEM Comfort Alert for the optimal temperature you enjoy while sleeping, then watch the display to monitor your comfort level and receive alerts when it is time to adjust. You can also program a secondary temperaturefor when you are away so that you can maintain an optimal comfort level when you are camping or away for extended periods of time. This module works with all Rheem two stage residential gas furnaces.

The Comfort Alert/Auxiliary Controller is a two-stage controller designed to operate with RHEEM outdoor split systems. The unit has a central display for easy viewing and an audible signal indicates the operating mode (on, off or heating/cooling). The single state relay output allows external signal devices to be ac powered through the existing RHEEM transformer while a second relay can be used to power ac devices directly.

The Comfort Alert is a single-stage indoor air quality sensor made to transmit with two-stage and periodic reset thermostats. The Comfort Alert (CA) is designed to enhance the operation of any heating and cooling system. The CA monitors the indoor air temperature and the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. When either one or both exceed preset levels, the CA signals the stat to change the heat or air conditioning setting accordingly. This helps reduce unwanted moisture and odors caused by humidity, usually removing them completely.
