This is a 16" vertical quartz metal halide lamp for the UV16 Series Photobiological Systems.
The Field Controls UV16 Replacement Lamp is used in UV16 Series UV water sterilizers. The UV water sterilizer removes 99.9% of bacteria and viruses from the water, and is an excellent solution to produce safe water for camping, recreation, gardening, animal watering, and all other outdoor activities. The long life lamp operates for up to 50,000 hours. This product also includes a protective power lens shade.
This 16" UV lamp is a replacement for Field Controls UV16 Series ultraviolet lamps, and is ideal for keeping pools free of algae. Utilizing germicidal ultraviolet light to efficiently eradicate all existing and incoming algae, this unit is designed for easy mounting and has an average life span of 21,000 hours.
The UV16 Series comes equipped with a field replaceable 16" lamp.
