The Ruud RHEEM 186798 -Ruud Comfort Alert Defrost Board shuts off the refrigerator when it senses a temperature that may cause frost build-up on the back wall of your freezer compartment.

Amid frigid temperatures, Rheem provided helpful feedback: a defrost board was installed on Rheem gas furnaces. The defrost board provides audible alerts when the appliance is defrosting (the light will flash green) and when it is time for filter replacement.
